The King Of Pop was finally laid to rest on Sep. 3,2009 at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Hollywood Hills, Calif. The ceremony was private, only his family (Mother Katherine, Father Joe Jackson , his brothers and sisters, and his three children), his closest friends, ( Elizabeth Taylor, Macaulay Culkin, Chris Tucker), and lots of stars came to say their final goodbye to the King Of Pop. Footage of the ceremony were aired on many TV stations even though the Jackson family made it clear that they don’t want the public to see the ceremony because it’s a family thing.. But i have to say this and i’m really sorry Randy Jackson you know we love your brother so much, and to millions of people around the world, he was family. So here’s a video from inside Michael Jackson’s Funeral. and i’m not sorry to post them because we need to see this, we respect the Jackson family but they shared Michael in his life with the whole world, you can’t tell us not to see this.. Rest In Peace Michael..
The Funeral:
The ceremony began when the Jackson Brothers entered carrying his bronze casket which was covered with flowers onto the outdoor stage, the same casket we saw in the Memorial Service two months ago in the Staples center.
Paris, Prince Michael Jackson, and Prince Michael Jackson II (Blanket), walked to their father’s casket and placed a crown on it which was explained later by a family spokesman who said that it was “to signify the final resting place of the King of Pop.”
Michael Jackson’s Mother, Father, Siblings and his children took sat on the front row while the rest of the family nieces and nephews and cousins sat behind on white chairs.
Pastor Lucius Smith said an opening prayer then he was followed Gladys Knight who sang “His Eye Is on the Sparrow.”
After that Clifton Davis performed a song that he wrote to the Jackson 5 called “Never Can Say Goodbye”.
After that all cameras were shut off, no one outside the ceremony knew what his family members said, Joe Jackson gave a speech and Michael’s brothers talked about him but no one knew what they said but A family statement issued said close friends and family, including the Rev. Al Sharpton, spoke “spontaneously to celebrate Michael’s life.”
