Under the Influence: He-Man and the Masters of the Universe

OOOOOooohhhhh i can’t believe i missed this, and for you who actually went there.. WHY DIDN’T YOU SAY SOOOO.. I’m just messing with you guys.. children of the 80’s, this is without a doubt one of the most amazing things i’ve seen in years. There was an exhibition that unfortunately ended two days ago at Gallery 1988, which was titled Under the Influence: He-Man and the Masters of the Universe.  For those of you out there who has no idea who He-Man is, i dunno what to tell you.. shame on you.. how can you call yourselves human beings if you don’t know who He-Man is.. he’s one of the greatest warriors of all time.. Well, after reading this article, you go get He-Man from anywhere and watch it… i don’t care how much it costs you, GET IT.. OK.

For those of you who actually know who He-Man is.. there was an exhibition that contained art work from almost 100 artists, and they were all about the same thing.. He-Man.. it’s really good.. check out some of  the pictures..

Taylor Swift is an angel..

Selena Gomez talked to Ryan Seacrest on his radio show, and she talked about Taylor Swift, she told Ryan:

“One of my favorite stories with Taylor Swift was when I was going through a very hard breakup,” Selena told listeners. “She came to my house at 10:30 at night and knocked on my door. I opened it, and she had two big bags of junk food, cookies, Snickers and soda.”

“She put it on the table, put her laptop on, we made a video, and she told me that now we could look forward to breakups, since we know the other one will get us junk food!”

Taylor is awesome..

Lost actors are not going to work after LOST…

That’s a smart move i think, they know that it won’t be the same after they’re done filming the show that made them huge stars, and i’m sure that if they get a job offer that they can’t reject, they’ll take it.. but for now, Evangeline Lilly said: “Acting is something I appreciate, and I think it’s been an amazing experience, But I’m not passionate about acting the way you probably should be to call yourself an actor.”She also added,

“I think this will be the last time you see me on TV,”

“I’m either going to do the kind of things I want to do in the film world, or maybe I’ll just do something else entirely.”

Actor Mathew Fox, who played the role of Doctor Jack Shepard in the TV show said: “My family will move to Oregon, back to the country I love. I miss the four seasons climate. We’re building a house up there and I’ll be closer to my brothers and my mother. Our kids will be closer to their first cousins.”

We’ll wait and see :)

We are the world.. The Remake..

We all remember the song We are the world, that the King Of Pop and Lionel Richie wrote together and sang with musical legends such as Kenny Loggins, Tina Turner, Stevie Wonder, Diana Ross and Bob Dylan as a way to give a lending hand to the people of Africa back in 1985, and now it’s time to do the same thing, but for the people of Haiti. Singers are joining forces to sing the same song in a way to help the people of Haiti raise money to survive the terrible earthquake that killed almost 200,000 people and made  tens of thousands homeless. The Jonas Brothers, T-Pain, Miley Cyrus, Celine Dion, Kanye West, Brian Wilson, Lil Wayne, Harry Connick, Jr., Snoop Dogg, Tony Bennett,  and Barbra Streisand will be the singers that are going to perform and appear in the video which will help this wonderful cause, and might help the people of Haiti and make things a little bit easier on them.

Nicole Richie, tweeted last monday about the work in progress and said: “I was 4 years old in a studio watching my dad record We Are The World, & today I get to do it again,”

The 25 year old single “We are the World” sold over than 20 million copies as of 2009 making it the best-selling single of all-time.
