I received a message from one of our readers saying that The dress Paris Hilton wore was designed by local Emirati designer Zahra Karmostaji not Sarah Belhasa who is the owner of fashion boutique Studio 8 ” so she’s not a designer?? probably not!, we reported earlier about Paris Hilton’s visit to Dubai for filming her new Reality TV show “Paris Hilton’s Dubai Bff”. I really don’t know the truth about the dress or who designed it but it seems that the Emirati Designer is not satisfied at all and she’s seeking an apology from Sarah. Well i really can’t blame her.. and yeah Sarah should apologize if this is 100% true.. our reader sent us a link that has some of Zahra’s words about the whole thing..
Zahra said: “They didn’t invite me. As if it that wasn’t bad enough, they didn’t give credit to what is solely my creation. It’s my dress not Sarah Belhasa’s, who is just a boutique owner, who stocks my collections besides those of many others. She must apologise to me. I lent this jalabiya to Sarah just a few days back. It’s the same dress which won me an award at the Miami Fashion Week,”
if you think that this ended here, you are mistaken.. Sarah also talked about the controversy over Paris’ dress by saying: “Paris took my name because her stylists picked the outfit from my boutique. I really wanted Zahra to take credit for it, but I couldn’t have possibly gone on stage and said this. Also, I assumed that people would know because I am not a fashion designer in the first place. It’s misunderstanding alright, but it’s not something I should apologise for. Why should I apologise?. I did not do any wrong. And anyway, I am far too preoccupied to get involved in any controversy. I don’t have time for such things,”
ok so Paris took your name because she bought the dress from your store?? Paris Hilton?? the girl that doesn’t wear but designer’s clothes, and she doesn’t even know the names of the stores she gets her clothes from.. let’s assume that this is true, yeah you should have said something, why not?? it’s her design and she should take “ALL” the credit.. and you should apologize “far too preoccupied shop lady”, and you should have time because without this creative design you wouldn’t be on this and other blogs..
